Government House, dwarfed by the massive Hongkong and Shanghai Bank building, is flanked by the domed Supreme Court building in the Central District of Hong Kong. In the foreground is the Hong Kong Cricket Club field with washing hanging by the entrance to its air raid shelter. A trolly passes along Des Voeux Road which follows the curve of the playing field's fence. |
