Old villages and fields lie beneath the slopes of Kowloon Peak and the rugged mountainside. A road winds around the Kai Tak airfield and around the bend is Kowloon Walled City. The walls of the city were demolished by the Japanese for stone to extend the airfield. In the background, Ma Tau Kok and Hung Hom mountains descend into Kowloon Bay. |
