Collection Jackson Davis Collection
Title A Monkey Bridge. So called because only a monkey could cross it with safety. We managed a number in Liberia, however, and crossed this one the first time at night by lantern light. The children shown are mission school girls and the woman washing is a typical village native of the Gola? tribe.
